1. Boys 100m
Who: Anthony Schwartz, Marcellus Moore, Jordan Byrd, Taylor Banks
Why: Is this even a question? Schwartz could go for a sub-10 effort on the University of New Mexico's track, and if there's an ideal place to do it, it's here. At elevation, Schwartz might spring for an especially powerful race, but he shouldn't forget about Moore, who's coming off a career best 100m time at the Illinois Class 3A championships in 10.31 seconds. He hasn't lost at 100 meters this year, but neither has Schwartz, who owns a wind-legal best of 10.13 (+2.0) and an all conditions best of 10.07 (+2.5). Beyond those two, Byrd should be in the picture as well. The Arizona standout was second last year in 10.47 and has a career best of 10.32. He hasn't lost in 2018, either. Banks, hailing from Miramar (FL), owns a top time of 10.34 (+2.4).
