Pacific Twilight Results I Oregon Relays Results
PORTLAND, Ore. --- Junior Cori Moore set a meet and facility record in the 400-meter run with a time of 56.31 at the Pacific Twilight last Saturday. The time was good for No. 2 on the Portland Top 10 list and followed a PR performance from Moore in the 1,500-meter run (4:27) at the Oregon Relays on Friday.
Other notable results from the weekend included sophomore Lyndy Davis posting the sixth-best 10K time in school history (35:38) and senior Natalie Hemphill tying a PR in the steeplechase at the Oregon Relays (10:47). Freshman Kellie Houser won the ‘B’ section of the 5K at Oregon with a time of 17:17, while freshman Kiyah Williams posted a 62:86 in the 400-meter hurdles in her hometown of Eugene.
“Cori continues to run great and have a breakthrough season,” Portland women’s track head coach Ian Solof said. “Lyndy Davis also impressed me with her smart race in the 10k, which was a huge improvement over her first one. Natalie Hemphill did a nice job in her first steeple in two years, equaling her PR. She will definitely go faster this season.”
The women’s track team will next compete at the Oregon Twilight on May 8 in Eugene.
