Junior
Max Lustick was named the “Most Valuable Performer” for the 2011 Illinois Wesleyan men's track team.
Lustick got third at the College Conference of Illinois and wisconsin outdoor meet in the 1500 with a time of 3:55.44. In the conference indoor met he got got fifth place in the 3000 (8:42.63) and seventh in the mile run (4:20.84).

Aaron Smith earned the “Best Newcomer” award and junior
Steven Kirk was selected as the “Hardest Worker”.
Smith got third in the CCIW outdoor 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.24, matching his third place finish at the CCIW indoor meet in the 800 (1:56.15).
Kirk was second in the weight throw in the CCIW indoor meet at 60 feet-9 1⁄4 inches, an NCAA Division III quaifying mark. He got sixth in the outdoor CCIW discus throw with a distance of 153 feet-1 inches and was fifth in the javelin throw at 166 feet-2 inches.
Kirk was also chosen to serve as a co-captain for the 2012 team along with are juniors
Adam Harrison, Stephen Lessaris, and
T.J. Luby.
