Jesse Sanderson doubled in the 200 & 400 earning both titles with times of 22.92 & 50.69.   The 200M was a very close race, because Cole Thomas (23.12) & T J Peay (23.41) were right on his tail.   Mike Wilson took second in the 400M with 51.01, while Seth Platsman of Bend just missed a trip to State by running 51.68.    Cole Thomas and T J Peay went 1 – 2 in the 100M and will head to State after dashing marks of 10.94 & 11.18 respectively.   For the girls it was Sarah Frazier of Summit, who scored in the 100M (12.70), as she bested Brianna Rosen of Mountain View (12.76).  Sadly Amanda Pease of Bend was a very close 12.96 but may not make State unless she can qualify on time.    Brianna Kitzmiller of Summit placed second in the 200 with 26.28, but then came back to triumph in the 400 Meters with a 58.43 clocking.   There was unfortunately little margin for error in the 200 Meters and Macauley Wilson (26.37) of Mountain View & Amanda Wilson of Bend barley missed with 26.65.   Ayla Wilson secured second in the 400 Meter Run with 59.11 and Macauley Wilson was nipped again, when she came home in 59.33.  One has to feel great empathy for Macauley, who was so close in two events & we hope we will see her compete in Eugene next week.
