The 12th Rock Fall XC Series continued this weekend, with this week's edition moving to the full 5K distance. Once again, Karrie Baloga (Cornwall) capitalized on the Open Division, winning in 18:23.5 for the new course. The course resides at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, NY, a full-service farm complete with Corn Maze and Hay Rides.
Baloga took the race by over a minute, with Nina Sgambelluri (Greenwich) taking second in 19:38.0. Baloga's Speed Rating was 142.17.
The Boys race was taken by Micah Tindale (Guilderland), as he makes his first foray into unattached racing for the year. At 16:38.7 for the winning mark, he was the only male athlete under 17mins for the day.
