RACE SIGN-UPS ARE ONGOING THROUGH MAY 23
National-class times -- including a world age group record -- proliferated the first installment of the RunningLane Track Championships last June, and now nearly a year later, don't expect anything less.
The second annual RunningLane Track Championships are set for May 27-28 in Huntsville, Alabama, this time at Milton Frank Stadium. Already, the event is shaping up to be a class event, with a wide selection of the nation's best distance runners scheduled to run.
You have six days to sign up. Registration closes on May 23.
Athletes from Pennsylvania, Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, New Mexico, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia and Louisiana and many more will compete.
Sitting just behind state championship dates in various states, the event will largely occupy the slot for athletes looking to "leave nothing left" on the track as they go for season-best times, state-level marks, national-class performances and maybe even national records.
