SPRINGFIELD, Ore. --- The Portland women’s cross country team finished 16th at the 2009 NCAA West Regional held at Springfield Country Club on Saturday. Sophomore Lyndy Davis led the Pilots and crossed the line in 48th place.
Washington won the meet with 25 points, while Oregon (66), Stanford (94), Arizona State (119) and Arizona (202) rounded out the top five.
Davis ran the 6K course in a time of 22:08.56. She was one of five underclassmen among the seven runners for the Pilots.
