The Woodlands TX -
7729.66 points 


The Woodlands have a very balanced team and continue to exert their dominance over the South region.  They are led by Justine Charbonnet, who has run 11.87 for 100 meters and 55.97 for 400 meters to total 1871.02 points.  Haley Gooch ran 14.72 for the 100 hurdles to to contribute 904.44 points.  Taylor Torres has also contributed with in the shot put and discus with a point total of 1698.62 points.

 

Hightower TX is #2 in the South region with a total of 6469.89 points and a US#47 ranking. 



Midwest Girls

Lee's Summit MO - 7460.64 points 


Lauren Cheadle leads a solid Lee's Summit squad with an 11.84 in the 100 dash and a 18-8 long jump to score 1883.30 points for her team.  Liga Blyholder competes in the 800 and 1600, scoring 1622.40 points.  Brittany Kallenberger scored 1600 points from her marks in the pole vault and high jump. 

 


York IL is 2nd in the Midwest with a US ranking of 39 and a score of 6651.85 points. 

 



Southeast Girls


This region continues to be deep with 3 teams in the US top-10 and 5 teams in the US top-16!  Western Branch, VA was upset, falling to 3rd in the region as West, TN emerges from SE#6 to take the lead.  Millbrook, NC moved up to 2nd in the region while
Boyd Anderson FL sits at SE#4.  TC Roberson, NC is now the 5th ranked team in this region.

West, TN - 7552.40 points

 

Maddie Treasure led the charge of this team up the rankings with a 12.40 100 and a 57.83 400 to total 1685.88 points.  Patavia Lowery competes in the 800 and 1600 and totaled 1638.88 points.  Sandra Richmond threw the shot and disc to help West with 1725.06 points.

Millbrook, NC - 7514.63 points


Roshel Bygrave shaved some time off of her times with a 56.86 400 and a 14.86 100 hurdles time to score 1765.58 points.  Sammy George lowered her 800 time to 2:16.44 and along with a 4:56.26 1600 run, has a total of 1793.17 points for her team.

Western Branch, VA - 7485.15 points


Keilah Tyson has the same times as last week with a 11.84 100 dash and an 18-2.5 long jump for 1851.48 total points.  Venus Whitties adds to the mix with a 14.64 100 hurdles to score 913.33 points.

Shayla Sanders leads her team with an 11.89 100 meters and an 18-4.75 long jump for 1854.25 points.  Shamona Haughton is also contributing significant points with her 35-8.25 shot and 126-6 discus throws with 1645.81 points.  Jasmine King stepped up in the 100 hurdles to score a big 895.56 points.

TC Roberson, NC - 7317.81 points

 

Sequoia Watkins ran threw 39-5 in the shot put and 144-7 in the discus to earn 1787.22 points.  Laura Hoer ran 2:19.78 and 5:00.80 to earn 1718.59 points.

 

 


Northeast Girls


Hopewell Valley, NJ continues to lead this region with a US#18 ranking and 7261.69 points.  Niskayuna NY is still 2nd in the region with 6217.63 points and a US#51 ranking.

Emily Kianka leads her team with 1789.09 points, gathered with a 5-9.25 high jump and a 17-1.5 long jump.  Miranda Mackey  is also a big contributor with 1594.10 points from a 12.44 100 dash and a 1:00.04 400 meter dash.

Spring, TX - 7807.84 points


This is a very balanced club with a different athlete for each event they are scoring.  David Johnson has 970.15 points with his 14.10 in the 110 hurdles while Frank Ridgeway has 945.24 points with his 10.64 in the 100 dash.  Also adding big points is Reese Watson with a 15-7.25 pole vault good for 941.30 points.  Taji Henley is helping the cause with a big 175-11.75 discus toss for 923.69 points.

The Woodlands, TX - 7621.07

 

The Woodlands takes over the #2 spot from Brenham with strong showings from three of their athletes.  Andrew Bourgeois threw the shot put 56-3.75 for 900.75 points.  Christopher Julius cleared 22-6.25 in the long jump to score 896.23 points.  Tom Sanderson ran 1:56.10 in the 800 and 4:16.06 for 1600 meters to total 1755.73 points.

Brenham, TX -
7483.53 points


This squad slipped 4 places nationally but continues a strong presence in the South region.  They are led by Xzavien Raglin with 921.43 points from his 10.74 in the 100.  Will Antkowiak pulled double duty with 838.58 points from his 1:56.84 800 and 833.22 from his 4:22
1600.  Terrance Brown threw the shot 55-4.75 for 890.23 points.   




Midwest Boys


This region has 3 teams in the top-20 led by Wayne, OH with 7512.68 points for a US#12 showing.  Loyola Academy, IL rocketed to the #2 spot (#17 nationally) with 7434.91 points.  Eastwood, OH slid to US#18 with 7431.02 points.  York, IL entered the scene with a US#24 ranking.

This team continues to be led by Demoye Bogle with 866.67 points from a 10.97 in the 100 and 818.65 points from a 50.05 clocking in the 400.  Jared Harrison contributed 924.03 points with his 176-0.75 discus toss.

Loyola Academy, IL - 7434.91

 

This team emerged on the scene with Shujaa Benson running 14.34 for 110 hurdles and long jumped 22-6.25 for a total of 1830.56 points.  Nico Composto ran 1:56.94 in the 800 and 4:17.81 for 1600 to score 1714.68 points.

Eastwood, OH - 7431.02 points


Eastwood is being propelled by Justin Welch, who is US#5 all-time in the hammer throw.  He has a monster 1011.90 points from his US#2 202-00 discus toss and 973.31 points from his 62-7.75 shot put.  Nick Twining contributed 643.65 points for a 4:39.46 1600 and 763.78 points for his 1:59.69 800.  Cody Seifert ran the 100 dash in 10.90 to garner 883.33 points.

This team is led by Will Sullivan's 11.24 100 and 20-8.75 long jump for a total of 1594.83 points.  Andrew Smith ran 4:17.84 for 1600 meters to score 878.39 points. 

 



Southeast Boys

This team has solid marks all around with Lavorrie Johnson leading the way with 900 points from a 10.83 100 and 954.72 points from a 23-6.5 long jump.  Devin Screen has 916.69 points from a 173-11 discus and 816.92 points from a 49-0 shot put.  Terrell Bryant has 887.14 points from a 1:54.99 800 and 784.47 points from the 1600.

Governor Thomas Johnson, MD - 7501.05 points


This team slipped 2 places nationally, but has two over 900 with Marquis Woodyard scoring 919.40 points with a 14.44 110 hurdles and Erick Artusio scoring 900 points with a 14-11.75 pole vault.  Fabian Gonzalez combined for 1582.29 points from a 11.32 100 and a 50.43 400.

Asheville, NC - 7426.50 points


Isaac Presson is a big scorer for this team with 935.85 points from his 4:14.01 Mile and 912.07 points from his 1:54.04 800.  Darius Drummond contributed 850 points for a 11.04 100 and 835.71 points for his 6-3.75 high jump.

 



Northeast Boys


With the season still young for the Northeast squads we should expect to see some big performances jump these teams up the list. 



Nashua, NH takes over NE#1 with 6921.85 points and a US#44 ranking.  Kevin Rosenberg leads the team with a 53-11.5 shot put and a 142-8.75 discus for a total of 1684.69 points.  Malvern Prep, PA fell to a US#48 ranking and 6807.16 points.  They are also PA#1.  Tracy Peal leads the team with 1503.62 points from a 47-4.75 shot put and a 111-6 discus toss.  NSIC 60 hurdles champ Wallace Spencer has 807.14 points from a 11.22 100, but just wait till his first 110 hurdles race. 

 

 

 

Southwest Girls

Chandler High School in Arizona still leads the southwest with 7794.40 points but has moved down to 3rd in the US.

Desert Vista remains in the same spot in all three areas and has moved up 80 points to 7645.26Shaylah Simpson is still leading the way in points with her pole vault.  Senior Courtney Darling threw the shot put 37-7 feet to earn 30 more points for the team (822).  Kadie McNamara moved into the top spot in the discus event, thowing 129’3 feet for 868 points.

 

 
 

Northwest Girls

Kentwood dropped down to US#25 but remains at the top in the region and the state.  Kentwood moved up slightly in points to 7129.22.  Alyx Toeanina impoved her shot put by 9 inches (41-8.25) giving her 893 points for the team.

Last week:  US#37  NW#2  WY#1                        

 

Cody out of Cody, Wyoming moved down one place in the national ranking but remains at #2 in the region and #1 in the state.  They jumped in points from 6464  to 6665.08 with the help of  Anna Bales who jumped 11-9.25 in the pole vault adding 70 points to the team total.  Bales also improved her 100 meter dash time earning 636 points.  Freshman Thrower Kiara Skinner brought in another 35 points with a new PR in the shot put.

 

 

 

Heartland Girls

Southwest out of Lincoln, Nebraska is still #1 in the region but moved down 2 spots to US#14.  Southwest moved up in points to 7376.93   thanks to Kylie Gokie’s 12.84 100 meter dash helping the team with 750 points.

 

 

This week:  US#15  HL#2  IA#1                        

Last week:  US#23  HL#2  IA#1                        

Iowa City West from Iowa City had one of the biggest jumps in the rankings moving from US#23 to US#15.  Micaela Haight improved her shot put by 2 feed and Jessica Gehrke ran a 12.23 100 meter dash for 882 ponts.  Molly Leveille also was a big help for the team with a 2:21.09 (804 pts) 800 meter run and a 4:59.55  (688 pts) 1600 meter run.

 

 

 

California Girls


Four California teams land in the top ten national spots.

Long Beach Poly (Polytechnic) still remains at #1 in the Nation with 8218.59 points.  No change have taken place in their scoring.

Trabuco Hills out of Mission Viejo, CA stayed the same as far as their scoring but moved down one place to US#4

Vista Murrieta from Murrieta, CA move up one spot in California and two spots in the US with 7557 points.   Senior Lynn Patu improved her shot put to give the team  a few extra points.

Paramount from Paramount, CA moved in points to 7557.36 but moved down to the #4 spot in the state and 9th in the US. Sophomore Shadonna Hunter earned 800 points for her 12.61 100 dash and Kyvondra Toloapai  moved into the shot put position with a 39-6 throw and 855 points.

 

 

 

Southwest Boys

Brophy College Prep  out of Phoenix, Arizona moved up into the #1 spot in the region and US#8 with 7617.06.  Senior Alex Bishop leads the team with 967 points for his 16-0 pole vault.  Freshman Devon Allen has earned 859 points for his 11.0 100 meter dash and his 51.12 400 meter dash.  Geoff Roxborough has 865 points for his 158-9 discus throw and 788 points for his 46-6.25 shot put.  Tommy Williams 4:22.53 1600 meter run has earned him 843 points for the team.

Desert Vista High School in Arizona moved up 30 points but moved down one spot in the region and the US.  Senior Anders Battle earned a few more points with his 10.81 run in the 100 meter dash.

Sam Barlow out of Gresham, Oregon still leads the Northwest with 7595.5 giving them a US#9 ranking.  There was no real movement in scoring.

Kentwood out of Covington, Washington remained at #2 in the region but dropped down to US#35 with 7113.89 points.     

 

 

 

Heartland Boys

Bismarck in North Dakota remains in the #1 spot in the Heartland moving up 100 points to 7291 points.  Despite the additional points the team moved down 5 places to US#23. Sophomore Alex Neumiller improved his long jump for additional points and senior Brandon Barnes improved his time on his 1600 meter run.  Channing Mann also earned 807 points for an 11.22 100 dash.

Bellevue West out of  Bellevue, NE moves leads the state and moves into second place in the region.  Helping the team Devin Barfield with 816 points for his 11.18 100 meter dash and 801 points for his 50.39 400 meter dash.  Xavier Thompson earned 942 points for a 6-9.75 high jump and J.T.  Travis jumped 21-5.25 in the long jump for 833 points and Travis Fowler threw the shot put 49-0.5 feet for 817 points.

 

 

 

 

California Boys

 

What a difference a week makes as the California teams shifted.  Five teams in the state are still in the top 10.

Vista Murrieta bumped Dana Hills out of the top Califonia spot and moved right up into US#1 with 7862.66 points.   Making the difference and adding 93 points to the team total was Senior Drew Dalton.  Dalton went from 4:24.75 in his 1600 meter run to 4:16.18.

Dana Hills moved down to #2 in the state and region and number 4 in the US with 7759.27 points.
