Oregon Outdoor Breakthrough Performances: Week of May 25

Here are the top performances by Oregon high school track and field athletes from the week of May 25.

Aida Lupo (Taft, Lincoln City) cleared 5-4.5 in the high jump at the 2026 OSAA Outdoor Track Championship on May 28, improving from her previous personal record of 5-2. The mark ranks #9 among 796 Oregon athletes and sets a new school record for Taft. Lupo placed 5th among 69 competitors.

Levi Vander Geissen (Westside Christian, Lake Oswego) ran 3:59.27 in the 1500 meters at the 2026 OSAA Outdoor Track Championship on May 28, dropping from his previous best of 4:08.36 set in May 2026. The junior ranks #42 among 2,216 Oregon athletes and #8 among 355 juniors statewide, establishing a school record for Westside Christian. Vander Geissen finished 24th of 87 competitors and also set a personal record in the 800 meters, running 1:58.75 to improve from 1:59.14.
