NYSSA Invitational

       Vallivue runners, led by Mikayla Malaspina, took the top six places and eight of the top nine to overwhelm their competition in the girls’ race in the NYSSA Invitational.   Malaspina won the event with a mark of 18:44 and Cheryn Trapp was a not too distant second in 18:55.  Kira Tristan (19:31), McKayla Tiffany (20:02), Annika Christiansen (21:05) and Emily Hammons (21:10) completed the Vallivue sweep before Fabiola Sanchez of NYSSA crossed the finish line in seventh with 21:32. Jennifer Cox & Amber Phipps of Vallivue earned eighth and ninth and Kacee Ramirez of Payette

     Nic Maszk of Baker topped the guys with his clocking of 17:12.  Drake Hungate of Greenleaf Friends in Idaho claimed second in 17:21.  Vallivue runners Jonah Babbel and Paul Page earned third & fourth respectively but were credited with the same time.   Dillon Danner of Marsing garnered fifth with 17:31 and Nathan Wiggins of Weiser followed in sixth in 17:33.
