Andrew Gardner ran 14:52 & Amy-Eloise Neale ran 17:13 to post the best times of the day in Washington.

There will be a wealth of talent on display tomorrow at the Westside Classic at American lake near Tacoma.
Kelly O' Neill earned her 4th trip to State.
Paige Rice & Kyle Thompson earned titles in the Mt. Hood Conference and Dan Oekerman of Beaverton had the best time of the day. Ella Donaghu and Parkes Kendrick of Grant went 1 -2 in the 3 Rivers. The Jesuit Crusaders will head to State once again led by Ellie Kallgren.
Elijah Armstrong of Pocatello
In the northwest Oregon & Washington runners made their final adjustments prior to their State qualifiers & Idaho runners ran their qualifiers. The big news was on the national level, where Sara Baxter put in a performace, that was perhaps second only to that of Melody Fairchild. Baxter ran three miles (not a 5K) at Mt. SAC in 16:00.
Paige Rice had by far the fastest time of the day for a female runner with 17:48 & in fact it was swifter than that of many of the guys. Dan Oekerman of Beaverton had the fastest time for the guys with 15:47, although Sam Remington, running at a different venue, was not far behind with his 15:49.

Adidas Concordia was the highlight of the week with Andrew Gardner & Ella Donaghu topping the bill. Around the nation it was the return of Edward Cheserek to action that was probably the biggest news, which was a part of Eastern States. Mary Cain headed the girls' field there.
It was a day of records with Andrew Gardner of Mead & Ella Donaghu of Grant putting in special performances.

Dan Oekerman, Kyle Thompson, Paige Rice & Dylan Hite were four of the race champions on Wednesday.
Tuesday’s duals provided some interesting results, which should have a broader impact on the outlook for state. Especially pertinent were the match-ups between Colby Gilbert of Skyview & Mark Tedder of Battle Ground for the guys. Also of note was the battle between Alexa Efraimson of Camas and Alexis Fuller of Union.
Katie Knight at Eagle Island
Katie Knight & Kai Wilmot of North Central scored impressive victories at Richland to top action in the Northwest.
There will be two very solid fields tomorrow with Katie Knight, Alexa Efraimson & Jordan McPhee leading the girls' field and Andrew Gardner, Joe Hardy and Kai Wilmot plus Austin oser to head the guys.
Charlotte Corless of Sunset & Tanner Smith claimed individual victories but Jesuit scored in both team races in Wednesday's quad meet in Beaverton.
Much action of note but the races of Amy-Eloise neale at Stanford & Andrew Gardner at Mountain West top the list for area runners.

Anna Maxwell of San Lorenzo Valley and Wolgang Beck of Gig Harbor captured the Danner Elite races.
Katie Flood placed third and Lindsay Flanagan finished ninth to lead Washington to a second place finish in the women's race.
Mikayla Malaspina at Foot Locker West
Mikayla Malaspina led a sweep of six Vallivue runners and Nic Maszk of Baker topped the guys.

Anna Maxwell and Joe Hardy appear to be the favorites but expect plenty of argument from runners like Paige Rice, Jordan McPhee, Elijah Armstrong & Kyle Thompson to name just a few.
Poli Baltazar
Poli Balthzar won the meet with 16:15, as he led his Aberdeen team to victory. Gabrielle Rudolph of Montesano topped the girls with 19:50.
Katie Knight, Amy-Eloise Neale & Ella Donaghu recorded major victories for the girls and Joe Hardy, Patrick Gibson & Matthew Maton scored for the guys this week. Of course there was plenty of action around the nation.
Kennedy Allen of David Douglas & Ian Stevens of Reynolds were convincing winners on Wesdnesday.
Amy-Eloise Neale was the top story in the Northwest but there was much happening around the nation of note as well.
