UPDATED WITH PHOTOS - Ryan Hill, a freshman at NC State University, placed 52nd overall the IAAF World Cross Country Championships this morning in Amman, Jordan. Ryan ran for Hickory High School and left quite a mark on the high school running scence over the last few years.

The National Scholastic Indoor Championships is set for the New York Armory this coming weekend. While many athletes are headed to Boston, a large of number of NC kids will be racing in New York.
Some of NC's finest sprinters will be heading to NYC: Antonial Marshall(Independence), Stormy Kendrick(Forestview), & Sanura Eley-O'Reilly(Jack Britt) to name a few.
Also, vertical jumps specialist, Lincoln Carr(Pine Forest) & the state's #1 shot putter, Kenneth Rowland(Northside-JAX) will be competing.
NCRunners.com will be onsite all day in Chapel Hill, with live updates & recaps. Hopefully during the break between the two meets, 1A/2A/3A video footage will also be uploaded.
