Dear Coaches:
We are looking forward to hosting the George Fox XC Classic at Willamette Mission State Park again this year. We are excited to have Saucony as the new sponsor of the event and will have awards for the top 3 teams in each varisty division as well as for the top 20 individuals in all the varisty races. We'll have the same music, coaches hospitality, t-shirts for all varsity runners with others for sale, and a fast loops course with great spectator access. The atmosphere and energy along with the high quality of the athletes has produced some of the top times in the nation in previous years and that looks to continue again this year! The high school races will again feature some of the top runners from around the region including Alaska, Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho. We will be using chip timing this year with a new system we have put in place for this race to make it easier to manage the large fields.
Our goal is to create a fun and competitive environment for all the athletes on your team as well as to offer a great spectator venue for fans to watch the action. There is plenty of parking and easy access at this venue and we look forward to seeing you and your teams on Saturday, October 11.
Team fees are $250 for combine men's and women's teams - 7 runners on each varsity team and unlimited JV entries. $125 for single gender teams and $25 for individuals. Make checks out to "GFU XC Classic" and mail to:

Dear Coaches:
We are looking forward to seeing you on October 11! Below are the suggested fields for the George Fox XC Classic. Please review and do your entries accordingly.
We will have a food and coffee cart at the meet this year - so tell kids they can buy food at the meet. We will also have extra shirts for sale - see item 6.
The state park charges a $5 vehicle entry fee unless you have a state park pass.
1) If you want to race your team in a different race, just let me know and we can adjust things - but we usually need to move teams up to Elite, not down to Invitational as the Invitational race is always bigger.
2) If you need to run an athlete in a different race on race day than the original entry, that is OK and you do not need to make any changes with us as we have it set up to score correctly as long as they have their bib number on.
3) It helps balance the JV fields if the teams in Elite run their JV runners in the JV Gold and the teams in the Invitational run their JV runners in the JV Silver, but if you need to change that for some reason, just let me know and we can make it work for you.
4) There is no coaches meeting race day - just pick up your packet and shirts at the registration table and say "Hello" at the coaches hospitality area.
5) Please have your payment to "GFU XC Classic" with you if you have not already sent it in ahead of time.
6) We are selling this year's shirts for $10 and last year's extras for $5 if your JV kids or others want to buy a shirt.
