XC INVITATIONAL

Upon entering the park, take a left at the first intersection toward the disc golf course

Entries

COLLEGIATE INVITE: Open to all college, club, and unattached athletes. Unlimited
entries per team. No high school aged athletes may compete due to NCAA rules. Entries
online through Direct Athletics must be submitted by Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at
Noon. No entry limits. Team entry fee of $250 per gender and/or individual entry fee of
$25 to be paid online during the registration process.

HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL/YOUTH INVITE: Entries online via athletic.net must be submitted by Tuesday, October 13th at 8:00pm. No entry limits per team. School entry fee to be paid through athletic.net is $150 per team or $300 for a school bringing both boys and girls. $25 per individual entry.

Parking $5 per vehicle payment at the main entrance. Registered teams will receive a parking
pass to print off.

Packets Packets will be available on Saturday beginning at 8:30am near the finish line and will
include bibs, chips, and course maps. At the conclusion of the meet, coaches should
collect all chips and return to the timer; each missing chip will result in a fee of $10.

Scratches All entered athletes who will not compete must have their chips turned in prior to 20min
before the beginning of their race, or they will be marked in the results as a DNF.

Awards Collegiate award ceremony to immediately follow the conclusion of the mens race.
Team Champions and Top 10 individual finishers will receive an award. HS/MS awards
presented at the conclusion of the meet.

Results Live results will be available at www.live.tf/xc during the meet. Results will be posted
online at lcpioneers.com and athletic.net/tfrrs.org at the conclusion of the meet.

Restrooms Several large restroom buildings are located in the park. There are no shower facilities.

Trainers Athletic Trainers will be present near the finish line. Requests for special needs must be
made to Jeremy Loew (jloew@lclark.edu).

COURSE

Collegiate: The course consists of a start loop of approximately 400-600m, followed by
three main loops for the women and four main loops for the men. Each main loop is
~1850m. 100% of the course is on grass or trail, and spikes may be worn.

High School/Middle School/Youth: The course consists of a start loop of
approximately 1000-1100m, followed by one main loop for the 3k and two main loops
for the 5k. Each main loop is ~1850m. The course start is straight and wide for the first
~400m. 100% of the course is on grass or trail, and spikes may be worn.

How sections are formed in each high school category:

Varsity 5k Coaches may enter 8 athletes in the Varsity 5k. Coaches will be asked to estimate their top 5 runners average times. Sections to be determined by meet management based on entries.
Developmental 3k/Junior Varsity 5k Coaches may enter anybody they wish. If sections are necessary, teams will be split according to varsity section entry.
NOTE For the safety of the athletes, race sections will be capped between 20-30 teams and ~200-250 individuals. Developmental 3k may be coed. If fewer than 50 athletes enter the developmental 3k, we will ask that they join the JV 5k.
