You and your team are invited to kick off your season with some of the best teams and athletes throughout the Northwest at the 2010 Brooks Runner's Soul XC Fest!
The 2010 BROOKS RUNNER'S SOUL XC FEST is conveniently located at the cross roads between many of the best running communities in the Northwest! Each year some of the best runners from each state (Oregon, Idaho, and Washington) assemble to kick off their seasons and see who put in the most work over the summer on our flat, fast, well-groomed XC course.
Last year's races were no exception. After nearly a decade of competitive races on this blazing course, both the men's and the women's course records fell. Erin Hegarty of Hanford ran away from the field after a fierce first half with several Boise High School harriers while Erik Fitzpatrick of Boise stormed from the start to break a long standing course record by over 15 seconds. No surprise, both Erin and Eric, along with several other teams and individuals who kicked off their seasons at the 2009 Brooks XC Fest went on to place highly in other BIG invitationals as well as their respective state and regional meets.
The Hermiston Cross Country program invites you to join some of the best teams and individuals in the Northwest as we start this fall "country style" at the 2010 Brooks Runner's Soul XC Fest in Hermiston, Oregon.
