BEAVERTON, ORE (March 3, 2010) – Today Nike opened registration and announced details for the Nike Track Nationals competition, the first ever national championship
competition to name the best high school track and field program in
the United States.

Nike has released their pre-season Nike Team National (NTN) Rankings. Wheeling Park boys and Morgantown girls are recognized as bubble teams just outside of the top 10 in the Southeast.   The cross country pre-season hype starts to begin, with the release of the Nike Team Nationals Pre-Season Rankings.

In a new format this year, two automatic berths per gender will be awarded in the seven newly created NTN Regional Championship meets slated for November. Four national at-large berths per gender will also be awarded via a points system based on success in head-to-head competition.
